The Regulator of Social Housing has published it’s Brighter Places Regulatory Inspection report today (30 September 2026)

Following their inspection earlier this year the Regulator has confirmed Brighter Places’ grades as C2 for consumer standards, G1 for governance and V2 for financial viability.

We welcome the assurance that our governance and financial arrangements remain strong, and the Regulator’s recognition of the substantial improvements already made to our repairs service and customer influence and scrutiny.

We recognise that further progress is needed to ensure these improvements are fully embedded and consistently reflected in outcomes for customers.

The Regulator provided valuable feedback as part of the process. We will continue working closely with our customers and the Regulator to deliver consistently good homes and services.  You can read the Regulator’s Inspection Report here
