At Brighter Places, we are pleased to announce that a vacancy has become available for a full time, permanent Housing Manager (Income) to join our team and play a key role in leading the way we deliver our Housing services across the association ensuring that we provide an efficient and effective service to our residents. 

You will be the ambassador for Brighter Places for income management and recovery with the aim for high performing service delivery that minimises arrears and maximises income. You will help develop and deliver high quality services in this area and ensure we provide high levels of customer satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

  • Line manage, coach, and support the day-to-day activities of the Income team to ensure an efficient, effective, and proactive services with an emphasis on delivering excellent service to our residents.
  • Oversee and manage Former Tenant Arrears and recharges, and lead on the delivery of our Income Maximisation Strategy and digitalisation of services. This includes ensuring that the rent and service charge setting process is managed and maintained.
  • Identify and implement change within our housing management systems, ensuring adoption of change management principles.
  • Be prepared to work flexibly to support colleagues in Housing Management when needed.

Bring It!

You will be a confident, dynamic, driven, and supportive team leader with a background in Income Management. You will have proven success in managing change and improving customer satisfaction. You will have a keen eye for detail and are able to analyse reports to enhance service delivery and evaluate performance.

You will have a calm personable nature and find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict or difficult issues.  Due to the nature of the post, you must be able to provide excellent communication and customer service. You must have strong demonstrable competence of using Microsoft Office packages including Excel.
