LaToyah McAllister Jones steps down to join Bristol Old Vic

News

You may have seen the Bristol Old Vic announcement that LaToyah McAllister Jones is joining them as Deputy Chair of their Trustees.

LaToyah has been a key member of the Brighter Places board for several years.  Harry Partington, our Board Chair, sums up LaToyah’s achievements and next steps for the Board:

“We are hugely excited for LaToyah on her appointment as Bristol Old Vic Deputy Chair.   LaToyah has been a much-valued member of the Brighter Places Board since 2019, contributing her vision, local knowledge, experience and energy to the organisation. LaToyah has played a key role in developing the Brighter Places Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and has acted as our Board champion.

The Old Vic is very lucky to have her and we look forward to witnessing her make a difference to such an important element of Bristol’s creative and community arts landscape.

LaToyah will be ending her term as a Brighter Places Board member a few months early to take up her role with the Old Vic. We are putting plans in place for her successor on the Board and will provide an update shortly.”
