What makes this scheme different?

The scheme is being built using a fabric first approach, which maximises the energy efficiency of the building to reduce energy consumption. The homes will also use a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system that reduces moisture in the air and uses warmth from kitchens and bathrooms to heat the rest of the home, and ground source heat pumps that provide residents with sustainable energy to heat their homes.

These carbon-reducing technologies will provide comfortable and condensation-free homes all year round and savings on energy bills.

How will this scheme benefit the community?

The works will include improvements to Oldbury Court out of school club which is situated next to the site. These will include accessible toilets, roofing works and improved parking.
