This is a scheme of 16 homes in the Greater Fishponds area and will include two 1 bed, wheelchair homes. The design will incorporate outside space in the form of balconies and ground floor gardens.

The scheme is being built to Passivhaus standards and will use Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) which removes moisture-laden air from a building and resupplies fresh, filtered air. In addition the scheme will use a ground source heat pump to provide residents with high levels of energy efficiency. These carbon reducing technologies result in a comfortable and condensation-free environment all year round and reduce heating and hot water costs.
The works will include improvements to Oldbury Court out of school club, which is situated next to the site. These will include accessible toilets, roofing works and improved parking.
Homes available for rent will be let through Bristol City Council’s choice-based letting scheme, HomeChoice.
