An increasing number of calls from residents worried about rising energy costs is behind the launch of a new web page Keeping warm, as Bill Keywood, senior tenancy impact officer explains:
We’ve been speaking to many residents in the last few weeks who are facing a choice between putting the heating on, or turning it off to save money for other essential bills. And we know that it’s something that, with rising energy prices, many residents are worried about.
“To make it as easy as possible to find practical information and advice, we’ve put together a new web page to show how we can support residents to keep warm, as well as to manage their energy bills.”
The web page includes information about reading your meter, understanding your bill, accessing financial support and energy-saving tips.
Bill added: “Anyone who is worried about paying their bills – especially if it means keeping warm over winter – do please get in touch with us as soon as you can. We’re a friendly team and can provide all sorts of support to help you through these challenging months.”
