Brighter Places is the largest social housing developer in Bristol and South Gloucestershire in 2021, creating high quality homes for the city. We are also leading in the regeneration of brownfield sites.
We are committed to:
- Delivery of 1,000 new homes by 2027
- Moving towards zero carbon homes and the UK’s target to become net zero by 2050: we are working now to reduce fuel poverty among our resident and reduce the operational and embodied carbon of our homes
- Community-led housing, working closely with our partners: we aim to deliver 100+ community-led homes by 2022 and find further groups to support. We aim to have 30% of our development programme supporting community-led schemes
