Responsive Maintenance Manager

In support of our continued growth we are pleased to announce that a vacancy has become available for a full time, permanent Responsive Maintenance Manager to join our team and play a key role in leading the way we deliver our repairs service across the association ensuring that we provide an efficient and effective service to our customers.

What you will receive

  • A starting salary of £47,350 with the opportunity to obtain additional performance related pay increments

What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for leading the Brighter Places approach to our repairs and voids service, proactively delivering excellence and focusing on our customers’ needs.
  • You will manage the repairs contract in place for the delivery of our repairs service, ensuring that we act as an exemplary landlord, proactively fulfilling all our statutory obligations, striving to deliver our customer promises and maintaining and improving our properties and estates.

Who are we looking for?

At Brighter Places attitude is key! We are looking for candidates to really drive forward and challenge us with new ways of thinking. Values driven with a great understanding of contract management, you will be a real champion of delivering exceptional customer service.

You will have a proven track record with experience in a similar contract management role and be able to scan the horizon, understand the business needs and develop workable solutions and strategies. You will be able to strike a balance between the need to lead a function and being a hands on technical expert where required.

You will be security conscious and will take a collaborative approach with the ability to develop and sustain partnerships with a range of external and internal stakeholders. Highly analytical and numerate and able to make sound judgements, developing creative solutions to complex problems and issues.
