The proposals follow previous unsuccessful attempts to sell the property as a commercial premises because of unsuitable location, configuration and condition. Brighter Places will be transforming a disused site into a 100% affordable housing scheme to avoid potential extended vacant status and create a positive contribution to the neighbourhood.
