You’re invited! Join us at our summer customer community events

This summer we’d love you to join us at our free, family-friendly customer community events across our neighbourhoods.
There will be refreshments, children’s games, and activities, along with plenty of opportunities to chat with us, ask questions and share your feedback. You’ll receive more information about the event in your area through your letterbox near the time. In the meantime, here’s what you can expect on the day.
So, save the date!
We’re coming to see you at various locations throughout the summer. We’ve already been to Lawrence Weston and St Werburghs and will out and about throughout the summer at:
- Thursday 23 July – Manor Court, Eastville
- Friday 31 July – Happy Landings, Hengrove
- Wednesday 12 August – Junction Way, Arnold Way Stanier Road, Mangotsfield – cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
- Wednesday 2 September – Merryhill, Lockleaze
These are relaxed, drop-in sessions, so there’s no need to book! You can pop along at any time that suits you. We’ll send you a reminder for the event in your area a few weeks before.
Why come along?
We really want to see you, listen to what you have to say, and hear about what’s working well and no so well in your neighbourhood. Here are some examples of how we’ve listened to what you have told us, consulted with you and taken action.
Put more focus on community
You said... It’s important to support new customers to feel part of the community and tackle issues together. For safer neighbourhoods, involve agencies, council and police better and check in more to make sure we are OK.
We did... We visited all communities impacted by demonstrations and now check in more to make sure new customers are OK. We also now attend a weekly multi-agency meeting to tackle safety issues and we arrange other support.
Explain the service charge better
You said… Customers told us that they would like better information about their annual service charge, to explain why there are changes and what the reasons are for any increase in costs.
We did… We listened and made changes to how we present the information. Costs are reviewed each year, so our new process was in place for the service charge in April 2026.
